Villas del Sol is a large development on the west side of the city, almost 6 km from the beach. It has supermarkets (Bodega Aurrera, Chedraui), a shopping plaza, parks and several city bus routes to Centro. Rents tend to be lower than near the beach; the daily trip to the tourist zone is a long one.
